Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has held another round of invitations through the Express Entry system—marking the third draw this week.
In this latest draw, IRCC invited 2,500 candidates who demonstrated French-language proficiency.
To be eligible, candidates were required to:
- Have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 481; and
- Submit their Express Entry profile before 5:16 a.m. UTC on 18 July 2025.

This latest draw follows:
- A Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draw on 7 August
- A Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw on 6 August
- A Healthcare and social services category-based selection on 22 July
So far in 2025, IRCC has issued 53,128 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) through the Express Entry system.
Draw Trends in 2025
Express Entry draws this year have largely concentrated on the Provincial Nominee Program, with the remaining invitations going to:
- Canadian Experience Class candidates
- French-language proficiency candidates
- Applicants in priority occupation categories under Express Entry
