Why study in Slovenia?
Slovenia, member of the European Union since 2004, is also a member of the Schengen Area and the Eurozone. This situation makes Slovenia an ideal destination for international students who would like to attain a higher education degree while discovering the rest of Europe. In addition, students are exempted from paying tuition fees at full-time study programs at public institutions, and enjoy affordable tuition fees at part-time studies and at private institutions.
Tuition fees vary from one higher education institution to another and per year typically range between:
- 2.000 EUR to 11.000 EUR for Bachelor’s study (depending on the programme)
- 2.000 EUR to 15.000 EUR for Master’s study (varies between the study programmes)
- 2.000 EUR to 6.000 EUR for Doctoral study (depending on the programme)
