Today's draw is the sixth Express Entry round in June. It follows a PNP draw on June 23, another CEC draw on June 12, and a smaller PNP draw on June 10.

So far in 2025, IRCC has issued 41,845 ITAs through Express Entry.

Most draws this year have targeted Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates. The remaining ITAs have gone to candidates in the Canadian Experience Class, those with French-language proficiency, and other priority categories.

Possible Shift in Draw Trends?

This latest CEC draw is the first time since February that IRCC has selected CEC candidates in consecutive weeks on its usual biweekly schedule.

Between February and early June, IRCC largely paused CEC draws, concentrating instead on PNP and, to a lesser extent, category-based draws with much smaller invitation numbers.

While today’s larger CEC draw might signal a move toward more frequent or higher-volume CEC invitations, it's too early to confirm if this marks a lasting change in IRCC’s approach.
