Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted a new Express Entry draw, issuing 3,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) category.
This draw recorded the lowest Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) cut-off score for CEC candidates since September 2024, requiring a minimum score of 518. To be eligible, candidates needed to have created an Express Entry profile before 1:48 a.m. UTC on October 2, 2024.

This month’s CEC draw on July 8 follows a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw on July 7, a previous CEC draw on June 26, and a PNP draw on June 23.
So far in 2025, IRCC has issued a total of 45,201 Invitations to Apply through the Express Entry system.
The draws this year have largely prioritized candidates nominated through the Provincial Nominee Program. The remaining ITAs have targeted Canadian Experience Class applicants, French-speaking candidates, and those qualifying under Express Entry’s priority occupation categories.
In recent months, IRCC has generally maintained a biweekly schedule alternating between PNP and CEC draws.
