Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted its first Express Entry draw of October, issuing 1,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
To qualify for this round of invitations, applicants were required to meet the following criteria:

A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 534

Submission of an Express Entry profile before February 21, 2025, at 4:01 a.m. (UTC)
This draw continues Canada’s efforts to prioritize skilled workers with Canadian experience, supporting both the labor market and long-term immigration goals.

This marks the 10th CEC draw of 2025 and the third consecutive round with a draw size of 1,000 and a CRS cut-off score of 534. Since August, IRCC has been consistently holding one CEC draw each month.

So far in 2025, IRCC has issued a total of 66,838 ITAs through the Express Entry system. The majority have gone to Provincial Nominee Program candidates, with the rest distributed among CEC applicants, French-language proficiency candidates, and those in the Express Entry priority occupation categories.
