Today's draw marks the 11th CEC draw of the year. It is also the fourth consecutive CEC draw to issue 1,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs), maintaining a CRS cut-off score around 533—consistent with previous draws in this series, which had a score of 534.

Since August, IRCC has been conducting one CEC draw per month. This draw is notable as it’s the first time since August that IRCC has held two CEC draws in the same month, with the last one taking place on October 1.

The October 6 draw follows several recent rounds, including a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw on October 27, a Healthcare and Social Services draw on October 15, and another PNP draw on October 14.

So far in 2025, IRCC has issued a total of 74,485 ITAs through the Express Entry system.

This year, Express Entry draws have largely focused on PNP candidates, while the remaining ITAs have been distributed among CEC candidates, French-language proficiency candidates, and those in the priority occupation categories.
