After a pause of over four months, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) resumed its draws on June 3, issuing a total of 3,719 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for provincial nomination across ten rounds.
The ITAs were distributed under three streams of the Employer Job Offer category:
- Foreign Worker Stream
- International Student Stream
- In-Demand Skills Stream
All profiles considered were created between June 3, 2024, and June 3, 2025.
🔹 Foreign Worker Stream
Three targeted draws were held under this stream, issuing ITAs to the following groups:

- 391 ITAs went to individuals residing in Canada with a Bachelor’s degree or higher and a job offer in Northern Ontario.
- 411 ITAs were sent to candidates who may qualify under the Regional Economic Development Through Immigration (REDI) initiative and are living in Canada.
- Just 5 invitations were issued to candidates with a job offer as career development practitioners or counsellors.
This stream targets foreign workers with job offers in TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 occupations (including eligible physicians) who intend to settle in Ontario.

- 1,350 ITAs were issued to candidates in various health occupations, provided they had qualifying job offers and met the minimum score of 68.
- 334 went to those living in Eastern Ontario with qualifying job offers.
- 493 ITAs were for candidates residing in Northern Ontario.
- 363 were issued to those eligible under the REDI program.
This stream allows international graduates with a valid job offer in a TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 occupation to apply for permanent residency, even without prior work experience.
Reduced Nomination Quota for 2025
These draws follow Ontario’s announcement that its 2025 nomination allocation has been cut by 50%, bringing the total to just 10,750 slots.
Due to the reduced quota, foreign nationals are advised to anticipate longer processing times.
