On October 2, 2025, the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) held draws for its Skills Immigration and Entrepreneur Immigration categories, issuing a total of 485 Invitations to Apply (ITAs).

Skills Immigration: 474 invitations were issued

Entrepreneur (Base Stream): 11 invitations were issued
This year so far, BC PNP has issued 568 ITAs in the Skills Immigration category and 86 ITAs in the Entrepreneur category.
Detailed Breakdown: Skills Immigration Draw
This was the first Skills Immigration draw since May 8, 2025. Candidates qualified under one of two criteria:

High wage / high income criterion — job offer with wage ≥ CAD $90/hour or ≈ CAD $175,000/year, in an occupation classified under TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3

Point score criterion — minimum score of 140 points
From the 474 invitations:

114 were issued under the wage-based criterion

360 under the points criterion
BC PNP states that future draws may consider factors such as education, credentials in BC, language skills, occupation, work experience, wage level, and strategic priorities reflecting labour market needs.
Entrepreneur Immigration Base Stream Draw
In parallel, the province issued 11 invitations under its Entrepreneur Base Stream. These candidates all scored above the cut-off of 123 (versus the baseline eligibility score of 115).
To qualify under this stream, candidates must satisfy additional criteria including:

Personal net worth (minimum CAD $600,000)

Ability to invest (at least CAD $200,000)

Language proficiency (at Canadian Language Benchmark level 4)

Those who rely on education credentials in lieu of business experience must still meet the eligibility requirements for business operations and job creation.
